Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi was founded in 1965 in Trabzon by Mevlüt SAĞLAM
as a private company and has been operating in the automotive industry
since its establishment. In the early years, Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi provided
automotive repair, maintenance and modification services and manufactured
some small fittings.

Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi, having diversified its activities over time, has developed
original differential, gearbox models and brake systems in order to enhance the
performance of motor vehicle serving in challenging road, land and operation
conditions. Since 2010, Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi has been obtaining patents for
its own original differential and brake systems and applying these systems to
M and N category vehicles through modifications, with AITM (Manufacturing,
Modifying and Installing Vehicles) type approval certificate.

Our company, having changed its status from a private company to a joint
stock company and receiving the title Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi A.Ş. in 2015, is
registered in Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Our constantly-
growing company has founded SAĞLAMLAR AĞIR SANAYİ GROUP
HOLDİNG in the United Kingdom and started to export to this country.

Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi A.Ş., having moved to two new separate production
facilities with a total area of 15000 m2 in 2019, has entered the marine
industry and has been supplying gearboxes (reducer) and turbines for marine
vehicles ever since. Sağlamlar Ağır Sanayi A.Ş., is the first and only company
in Turkey to modify drive wheels in commercial vehicles, with type approval
certificate.

Our company, has had an R&D cooperation with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
University and built its more than half a century-year-old experience in this
topic on scientific and theoretical principles and started to design and develop
differentials, marine gearbox (reducer) and marine turbines with this university.
